The most recorded jazz bassist in history, (with a Guinness World Record to prove it), Ron Carter has remained at the forefront of jazz from his early days with Miles Davis's historic Quintet, to his playing on the seminal hip-hop record Low End Theory, to Santana's latest "In Search of Mona Lisa", not to mention dozens of his own albums over the years.
Carter continues to teach when he is in New York City, and he has a library of instructional books that are used in universities and by individuals on every continent.
He tours the world every year with his trio, quartet, big band, nonet, and also a a sideman for a number of prestigious bands.
